Vacation

So right after the snow we skipped town with my family for a little R&R in Florida, Disney World specifically. Our family of five, plus my parents, two sisters, my brother in law and nephew all flew out together. We made quite the sight traipsing through the airport. Especially since we almost missed our first flight. I was a little nervous because my kids haven't flown since we came back from Ethiopia almost three years ago. But everyone was pleasantly surprised when all three kids and three month old William took to traveling like champs. I wish I had taken some pictures at the airport but alas getting the camera out was the last of my thoughts.

We all stayed at Animal Kingdoms Kidani Village. The rooms were beautiful but the view from the balcony was really what made the place. Everybody loved being able to watch the animals.

Most of our time was spent in the parks, trying to do and see as much as we could. We did Disney with Jael and Ezra a few years ago but this was Mateos first trip. There was nothing cooler than watching him see all the sights for the first time. Though, he wouldn't believe he was at Disney World until he got to see Mickey Mouse.

We had Dinner with the Princesses.

We got to meet the faeries.
*my personal favorite*

Took picture with a few of the kids favorite characters.

Rides, and more rides.

The one ride I wish I had some kind of picture from is the Tower of Terror; which, if you will believe it, Ezra and Jael both rode with me and Aunt Rachel. I was shocked that they weren't afraid. Ezra just walked off the ride with a dazed look in his eyes saying it was "totally awesome."

We had fantastic dinners.

And it wouldn't be my blog if I didn't have at least one picture of food.

It was really a great time away, of course getting back into things at home have been tricky, that vacation mindset kind of sticks with you for a while.
